Transfer a basso costo dall'aeroporto Civitavecchia port alla città

If your cruise starts from Civitavecchia, you will probably arrive at Rome Fiumicino Airport.

How to get to the port? There are 3 options: 

Book a cruise company group transfer. It costs from 22€. Not all companies organize it, and the departure time may be inconvenient.
Take a taxi. It costs 80-120€ depending on the type of car. A good option for companies of 6-8 people is a transfer from Civitavecchia Transfer Rome. Travel time is 50 minutes. The driver greets you with a sign, no prepayment is required. They bring you directly to the desired terminal.
To get there by train. There is no direct line. Transfer to Roma Trastevere station. Travel time is from one and a half to 2 hours. The timetable can be viewed on the Italian Railways website. From Fiumicino Aeroporto to Civitavecchia. The ticket costs 11€. 
We do not recommend arriving in Rome on the day of the cruise departure. First of all, it's risky. Secondly, Rome is a must-see city. In this case, it is worth booking a hotel near Termini Central Station. At the airport, buy a ticket to Roma Termini. On the LEONARDO EXPRESS high-speed train, the ticket costs 18 €, the journey time is 32 minutes. You can get there for € 8 by an ordinary train with a transfer at Roma Ostiense station, the journey time is 52 minutes.

You can take the bus for 7€. The schedule is here. Please note that in Rome, as in any city of millions, there are traffic jams.

From Termini Station to Civitavecchia Port, trains depart every half hour, usually from platform No. 27 (on the right, if you look at the tracks). The ticket costs €5, the travel time is from 1-10 to 1-25. There is a bags-free luggage storage near Termini Train Station (here). The cost of storing 1 place is 6€. Buses depart from the forecourt in Civitavecchia (€ 2 tickets are sold at the cafeteria and newsstand in the station building) to the port shuttle bus stop at the tourist center, which are transported free of charge to the desired cruise terminal. Walking 1.5 km (route). Carrying suitcases is a rather dubious pleasure. A taxi from the station to the terminals costs 10-15€.

The fortress has a shuttle bus stop, which is much closer to the railway station and more convenient, but they don't always stop there.
